Q. What is IPTSP?

A. IPTSP means Internet Protocol Telephony Service provider. BTRC has issued licenses to selective ISPs for providing telecom service  over IP.

Q. What is IP Phone?

A. VoIP phone or IP Phone uses Voice over IP (Voice over Internet Protocol - VoIP) technologies for placing and transmitting telephone calls over an IP network, such as the Internet, instead of the traditional public switched telephone network (PSTN).

Q. Compatible devices for IP phone service?

A. IP Phone Set, ATA Device, SIP enable Mobile set, Wi-Fi IP Phone and Soft Dialer (PC to Phone) are compatible.

Q. What is Interactive voice response (IVR)?

A. Short for interactive voice response, a telephony technology in which someone uses a touch-tone telephone to interact with a database to acquire information or enter data into the database.  IVR technology does not require human interaction over the telephone as the user's interaction with the database is predetermined by what the IVR system will allow the user access to. In an IVR system, callers are given the choice to select options by entering digits.
